Block Tales Griefer's Crib route role
Griefer's Crib is the point where Chapter 2 collects every earlier mistake. If the player spent too much in the rainforest, the crib turns that into a boss-chain problem.
Do not enter like this is one more room. It is the route into Griefer, then Bubonic Plant, with poison and resource pressure carrying between decisions.
- Restock before entering if the rainforest was expensive.
- Bring Cure or another real status answer.
- Save SP for the Griefer and Bubonic Plant turns that matter.
- Use fire pressure against Bubonic Plant when the build supports it.
Griefer then Bubonic Plant
Griefer tests whether you can handle Slow, Dizzy, Poison, and charged Venomshank turns without burning the whole bag.
Bubonic Plant then asks a different question: can you handle 2 Defense, Mobile timing, repeated Poison, and a Burn weakness without wasting the advantage?
- Do not finish Griefer with zero recovery left.
- Use Cure when Poison would decide multiple turns.
- Use Free Fire or Rocket Boots-style fire pressure if available.
- Do not plan around Poison against Bubonic Plant.
How failed attempts usually happen
Most failed Griefer's Crib attempts are not mysterious. The player enters tired, wins the first fight expensively, then has no answer for the final boss pattern.
The fix is not always more damage. Sometimes it is leaving Investor or comfort cards behind and equipping HP, SP, Cure, or a cleaner boss plan.
- Low HP failure: add HP+ or heal earlier.
- Low SP failure: save skills before the boss chain.
- Poison failure: bring Cure or status prevention.
- Damage failure: use fire and stronger single-target pressure.
FAQ
Is Griefer's Crib the end of Chapter 2?
Yes. It is the route into Griefer and Bubonic Plant, the final Chapter 2 pressure chain.
What should I bring to Griefer's Crib?
Bring Cure or status recovery, enough healing, and a damage plan that can handle Griefer first and Bubonic Plant afterward.
Why is Bubonic Plant hard after Griefer?
Because Griefer can drain HP, SP, and status answers before Bubonic Plant starts its poison-heavy 40 HP fight.
Should I use fire in Griefer's Crib?
Fire is useful for Bubonic Plant because it has Burn Vulnerability level 1. Use it when the build can apply it reliably.

Chapter 2
Block Tales Chapter 2 is A Toxic Time, released on July 6, 2024. It starts after Cruel King and the Ice Dagger, then sends the player through Roblox HQ Basement, the airport route, Plainstown, Savannah, Ant Hill, Turitopulis Forest, Rugged Rainforest, and Griefer's Crib. The chapter adds a heavier poison and jungle route feel, with Komodo Dragon, Bigfoot, Griefer, Bubonic Plant, and optional Supreme Mosquito in the boss set. Bring Cure or another status answer before the route starts draining items. Chapter 2 rewards players who conserve SP before the long jungle stretch.

Guide
Status Effects Guide
Block Tales Status Effects Guide focuses on what changes a turn, not on memorizing every icon. Status effects appear in battle with duration and level when applicable. Some protect, some debuff, and some steal tempo. Frozen is the early warning sign because Cruel King can apply it for 1 turn and stop the action you planned next. Fine can block status ailments for a short window. Burn, Freeze, and Poison enchants can come from card effects. The key decision is simple: remove, prevent, or race the effect before it costs more than the turn spent answering it.
